  Félix-Houphouët-Boigny University is an Ivorian university, established on a 200-hectare campus located in the heart of the commune of Cocody, in Abidjan. The university was, in the 1970s and 1980s, very renowned in French-speaking West Africa for its numerous faculties. Closed after the post-electoral crisis, it underwent a complete refurbishment, reopening its doors in September 2012. However, it is accused of being poorly managed, severely lacking in equipment and premises, and It has been less maintained since its inauguration, leading its facilities towards a premature state of deterioration. The Félix-Houphouët-Boigny University, formerly named Cocody University, comes from the three university centers which were affiliated with the National University of Côte d'Ivoire in 1971, the origins of which date back to the creation of the Teaching Center superior of Abidjan in 1958, itself promoted to the rank of university by presidential decree on January 9, 1964. The establishment had, before the 1990s, a scientific production of 3,876 theses and 530 DEA.

  Very lousy kitchen. You would think they were children learning to cook. Very bland dish. Honestly I am very disappointed

  A chic restaurant. I enjoyed my lunch in this great place.... A varied choice of dishes.

  The Félix Houphouët-Boigny cafeteria commonly called "Bacongo" is located within the FHB University near the poro statue and Amphis A and B of the ex-fast. It offers menus for breakfast and lunch. Dishes generally cost 2000 FCFA (fries, tchep, rice sauce). However, breakfast starts from 500f (disgusting). The site is also pleasant for defense snacks or other events.
