One of the best hospitals in Abidjan. The hospital was clean and quiet. The view of Abidjan was beautiful with a very beautiful view of the new COCODY BRIDGE.

It’s alright, service could be better. 15 years ago they used to have church in there, maybe they still do… you had to take the elevator all the way up. It was a church for the patients but anybody could attend.

The doctors are trying and they have doctors for all kinds of health issues. The 2 star rating is for the doctors. The reception and clerks are slow, don’t smile and don’t care about people. Expats find the hospital a death trap, at least from people i have heard from. I use the place because of doctors but for the reception, i have to mentally prepare myself and lose work for the day because they will wear you down mentally and physically and then you spend all the day staring at incompetent people.

Only after visiting twice and talking to friends did I know that this hospital has a bad reputation among expats for the similar bad experiences. Not internationally friendly: staff calls me ‘Chinois’ only because I look like Asian. More importantly, I couldn’t trust the hospital because 1) they skip all the important mandatory questions (didn’t ask my name before blood taking, or examination, didn’t give me any basic medical checklist) 2) every cisam administrative staff were slow (I arrived at 7:30 opening time, saw first arriving staff at 7:50 and first patient went in for test almost at 9am, for every single step it takes 2-3hrs, even for paying or getting result), stubborn, unkind, and unprofessional (doesn’t check the information of patients before giving additional medication, and administrative staff has strong opinions on what the patients should do and refused to consult professional on a medical issue).
