  The management body of a nation's economy. Successive missions The Ivorian Public Treasury effectively succeeded the French Public Treasury in January 1963. In the search for its notoriety, it underwent changes both in its organization and in its functioning. The main dates which marked this development are as follows: DECEMBER 31, 1959: the Franco-Ivorian convention made the Ivorian Public Treasury a service attached to the French Treasury. This agreement related to the relations between the Public Treasury of Côte d'Ivoire and the French Republic for the organization and operation of services. DECEMBER 14, 1962: Decree No. 62-457 of December 14, 1962 organizing the Treasury services of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire stipulates that from January 1, 1963, and by application of Titles II to IV of the convention Franco-Ivorian Treasury of December 31, 1959, the Ivorian Treasury is established as a General Treasury with a General Paying Treasurer at its head. He also planned the creation of a General Treasury in Abidjan, Specific Treasurys in Korhogo, Bouaké and Daloa, a Municipal Revenue in Abidjan as well as Collections in place of Special Agencies. DECEMBER 26, 1968: Decree No. 68-605 of December 26, 1968 creating a Directorate of Public Accounting and the Treasury, and reorganization of the Treasury services of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire creates a Directorate of Public Accounting and the Treasury.
